Our Black Gold is an excellent black tea of Dian Hong style that is globally famous for lush flavor profiles. This tea is made of tea leaves of Fengqing large leaf cultivar grown in cloud-veiled mountains of high elevations in Fengqing, Yunnan, China. After harvested, the leaves are carefully hand-rolled into tight spiral balls that resemble snails. When steeped, the tea leaves will slowly unfurl, releasing dark red full-bodied cups with an alluringly floral overtone and hints of apple, dark chocolate and malt. Black Gold's flavor is bold enough to take in fruit, milk or sugar yet complex enough to be appreciated on its own.
